Lisa Olivia Munn is a native of Oklahoma City. Kimberly Schmid lived in Vietnam with Chinese ancestry while Winston Barrett Munn's family has roots deep in the American South. Olivia was only two when her parents separated. She was raised by her stepfather and mother, both of whom who was an United States Air Force member. Olivia was raised within Tokyo in Japan. Although her family was relocated from Oklahoma to various other locations however, it was it in Tokyo that she received most of her schooling. When she was in Japan, she acted as an actress at local theater performances and then was an Japanese models for fashion. Olivia moved from the United States back to Los Angeles, where she pursued her dreams of being an actor. In the end, she was able to land a couple of tiny roles on television shows that featured Hawaii lenses (such as Beyond the Break), she was able to land the role of Mily Acuna. She was also offered Rob Schneider's receptionist in Big Stan. She hosts "The Daily Nut", "Formula D" and "The Formula D Podcasts" on G4. The passion she has for surfing has been a constant following the television program Beyond the Break. She is also a black-belt in Taekwondo. At the age of two, her mother got married. The second time, she got married to a US Air Force serviceman. Though the family had moved several times, the majority of her life was spent in Tokyo Japan in Japan, which is the area in which her father worked for the military. In the University of Oklahoma is where she completed her studies in journalism, with a minor in Japanese, drama and dramatic arts.
